The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from King.
It looks like Peter Griffin has been cut.
King misses with a two punch combination.
King loads up on a big right hand but Griffin slips the punch.
King throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Griffin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Griffin looks for a takedown but King sprawls well.
A big left from Griffin misses.
King tests Griffin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Griffin moves away.
Griffin throws a hook but King blocks it.
Griffin misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting King counter with a right hand.
Griffin fails with the takedown.
King swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Griffin stuns King with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Griffin bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! King comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Griffin falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Griffin was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brian King! Brian King retains his heavyweight title!
