Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duke doesn't manage to clinch there - Davidson circles away.
Davidson really is a fat lump.
Duke stuffs the takedown.
Duke tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Davidson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Duke ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Duke no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Duke has his foot on Davidson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davidson works his way back into a safe position though.

Duke has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Davidson has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

We've been informed that Duke has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Duke lands a big shot there that rocks Davidson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
