Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Terry Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramazan Astakhov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Terry Moon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ramazan Astakhov! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Astakhov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Astakhov scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Moon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Moon looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Astakhov passes into side control.
Moon is looking for a sweep. Astakhov cracks Moon with a big right hand but Moon just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Astakhov working the head with strikes. Astakhov working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Astakhov lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Moon down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Astakhov is looking to take a break and control but Moon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Astakhov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Astakhov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's one minute gone in the round. Astakhov is putting a hurting on Moon here, landing some big shots from side control. Moon prevents Astakhov from moving into mount. Astakhov lands some shots froms side control. Astakhov lands a nice forearm strike.
Moon is rocked! Astakhov cracks Moon with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Astakhov immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Moon is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Astakhov!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ramazan Astakhov!
