Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Masa Mama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buakaw Banchmek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mama comes to the cage accompanied by Cowboys From Hell. Banchmek is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: CANT BE TOUCHED. Buakaw Banchmek will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mama tries to sprawl but Banchmek drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Mama's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Still in half guard, Banchmek seems content to control.
Mama really is a fat lump.
Mama wants to improve his position but Banchmek is controlling well.
Banchmek thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mama's head.
Banchmek wants to free his trapped foot but Mama is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Mama keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Banchmek throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Mama has a takedown stuffed.
Mama closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mama lands in his opponent's guard.
Banchmek manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Mama wants a takedown.
Banchmek gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Mama looking to hit a scissor sweep but Banchmek is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Banchmek trying to control the position from guard on top but Mama is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Banchmek postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Mama gets caught napping as Banchmek dives in and scores a takedown. Mama manages to retain guard.
Banchmek sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mama's guard.

Banchmek thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mama is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Banchmek's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Banchmek's back!
Mama lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Mama throwing wild punches that miss their target.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mama has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Banchmek.
It looks like Buakaw Banchmek has been cut.

Mama gets his hands free as Banchmek looks to control.
Mama has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Banchmek! Can he survive? No! He's out! Mama gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Masa Mama!
Masa Mama decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
