Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Werner Klemperer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Manuel Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klemperer comes into the arena with Hogan's Heroes blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klemperer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Klemperer lands in his opponent's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Klemperer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Manuel Marquez wants to get back to his feet but Klemperer is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Klemperer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Manuel Marquez. That did some damage!

Manuel Marquez is looking to regain half guard here but Klemperer keeps moving and retains side control.
Klemperer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Manuel Marquez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Manuel Marquez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Klemperer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Klemperer looks up at the clock and then as Manuel Marquez takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Klemperer smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Manuel Marquez tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Klemperer cranks the arm and Manuel Marquez screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Manuel Marquez, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
