Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Brock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Brock's choice of entrance music: Venom's Theme. Eddie Brock is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Brock!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brock throws a hook but Lee blocks it.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Nice uppercut lands for Brock. That snapped Lee's head back.
Lee fails with the takedown
and Brock counters with a slapping leg kick.
Brock uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lee has time to react.
Lee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brock but Brock pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Brock lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Both fighters circling a little - Brock finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Lee tries for a takedown but Brock sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Freddy Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brock throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Lee looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Brock lands a jab to the head.
Eddie Brock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Brock lands with an uppercut that bounces Lee off the cage and back into range.
Brock has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lee is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Lee shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brock is trying to defend but Lee finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Lee looking to secure an arm triangle but Brock defends it well.
Brock is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Lee goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Brock turns into him and now he's in Lee's guard.
Brock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lee wants to sweep but no luck.

Lee is working for a guillotine from mount but Brock frees his head quite easily.

Lee lands a big shot there that rocks Brock but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Lee is trying to take his opponent's back.
You get the feeling that Brock really doesn't like being in this position too much.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lee wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Brock squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Freddy Lee will probably get the nod.

Brock moves out of range of the strikes.

Lee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brock sprawls well initially but Lee persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Lee is looking for submissions but instead, Brock has regained full guard.
Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Brock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lee is looking to advance position but Brock has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Lee bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Lee working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Lee landing some decent shots from guard.
Lee pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brock is keeping the position for now.
Brock is looking to stand up but Lee isn't so interested in that idea.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brock swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Brock keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully.
Lee is standing up over Brock. Brock looks to escape but Lee dives into side control.

Lee thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lee trying to control the position but Brock is working away.

Lee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Brock has escaped the position, nice work there.

Lee is trying to ground and pound but Brock uses the momentary lack of control by Lee to regain half guard.
Lee wants to pass to mount but Brock is defending the position.

Lee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lee not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Brock lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Brock bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lee's head.
Nice uppercut lands for Brock. That snapped Lee's head back.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lee is defended easily by Brock.
Brock clobbers Lee with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Lee dives in and grabs Brock's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brock pushes down on Lee's head and hops out.
Lee is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brock sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Lee darts in looking for a takedown but Brock gets double underhooks and turns Lee into the cage.
Brock doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Brock lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lee backwards.
Brock lands a body shot in the clinch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Lee is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Brock pushes Lee against the cage. Brock is working some dirty boxing. Brock pushes off with a quick right hook! Lee goes down! Lee tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Brock moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Brock!
