Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Victor Hugo!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hugo fails with a takedown attempt.
Hugo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lima avoids it really well and circles away.
Lima shoots in for a takedown but Hugo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Some wild striking there from Lima.
Hugo dives in for a single leg takedown but Lima sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Junior Lima has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Hugo.
Lima tries to stall but Hugo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Lima landing some nice looking knees to the body.
A nice right hand lands inside from Lima.
Hugo working hard to break the clinch.
Hugo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lima is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hugo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lima drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hugo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Lima throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lima gets caught flat footed, as Hugo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hugo decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lima, up you get!
Lima fails to land the takedown.
Hugo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lima sprawls well initially but Hugo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hugo is controlling the pace.
Hugo works his way into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lima tries to bench press Hugo off him but Hugo keeps the position.

Hugo has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lima is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hugo yanks on the arm and Lima is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hugo.
