Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Spackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Spackman's choice of entrance music: Forgot about Dre. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Donnie Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Spackman! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spackman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Spackman scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Jackson tries to kick Spackman off but Spackman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Jackson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jackson wants to stand and escape but Spackman is having none of it. Spackman is looking to work some ground and pound but Jackson has wrist control. Spackman passes Jackson's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Spackman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Spackman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spackman is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Jackson has managed to free his arm - good work. Jackson is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spackman takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Jackson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jackson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Spackman moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jackson takes a swing at Spackman's ribcage but misses. Spackman avoids a kick to the body.
Donnie Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spackman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Spackman takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Jackson is breathing heavily. A decent looking body kick lands there for Spackman. Some wild striking there from Jackson.
Jackson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Spackman.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Spackman slips a jab and a cross from Jackson.

Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Spackman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jackson sprawls well initially but Spackman persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Spackman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Spackman unloads with some shots from mount but Jackson bucks and avoids them well.

Jackson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Spackman jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jackson manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Spackman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Spackman moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Spackman fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jackson catches Spackman with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Spackman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jackson misses the shot to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Spackman dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jackson cracks Spackman with a right hand to the side of the head. Jackson digs a good body shot into Spackman's ribs. A swing and a miss from Jackson. Nice straight punches there by Jackson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jackson. Jackson fails to land with a series of punches.
Spackman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side. A big left from Jackson misses. Jackson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Jackson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Spackman on the side of the head. Jackson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Spackman. Spackman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jackson. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A telegraphed right hand from Jackson misses the target. Jackson looks to land a left hand but Spackman moved out of range nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson throws a hook to the side of Spackman's head but Spackman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jackson throws a looping overhand right but Spackman ducks down to avoid it. Spackman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jackson throws out the jab. Jackson with a body punch. A glancing blow. Jackson cracks Spackman with a good jab. Spackman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jackson. Jackson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Excellent takedown into side control there by Spackman. Spackman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jackson is trying to buck Spackman off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spackman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Spackman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jackson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Spackman has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Spackman avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Jackson throws a right and a left that Spackman avoids nicely. The fighters circling - Jackson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spackman shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Spackman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jackson lands a jab-cross combination. Jackson looks to land a right hand but Spackman moved out of range. A swing and a miss from Jackson. Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Spackman drives through with a takedown into guard. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Spackman from controlling successfully. Jackson keeping full guard, as Spackman tries to pass. Jackson trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Spackman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jackson is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spackman throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jackson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. A punch combination from Jackson misses. Jackson misses with a series of wild punches.
Spackman has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Spackman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jackson.
Spackman misses with a takedown attempt - Jackson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Donnie Jackson will probably get the nod. That's time! Jackson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Jackson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Spackman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jackson is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson really wants to buck Spackman off and get back to his feet. Spackman is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jackson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Spackman seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Jackson is holding on tight.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Spackman is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Jackson has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Jackson controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Spackman has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jackson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Spackman working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Spackman looking for the RNC. Spackman is punishing Jackson with strikes - can he finish him?! Spackman working for the choke. Jackson turns into Spackman and is now in his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson throws a body punch but Spackman moves out of range. Jackson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Spackman. Jackson throws a big shot that misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Spackman. Spackman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jackson wants to get back to his feet. Spackman wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jackson, who protects the arm well. John Spackman has got the better of the ground game so far. Jackson throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
And that's the end of the fight! John Spackman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Spackman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
