Levchenko comes to the cage accompanied by Killing in The Name. Kersikov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Calvin Harris feat. Ellie Goulding - I Need Your Love kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hamish Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Levchenko is out of range.
Levchenko misses with a low kick.
Levchenko fakes the leg kick and cracks Kersikov in the body.
We've been informed that Kersikov has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Kersikov throws a lazy right hand but Levchenko sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kersikov scores with a nice body kick.
Kersikov thumps Levchenko with a low kick.
Kersikov on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Kersikov looks for the body kick but Levchenko saw that one coming.
Kersikov moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Levchenko misses with a left hand
and Kersikov counters with a nice leg kick.

Hamish Kersikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Levchenko scores with a jab to the head.

Levchenko pushes Kersikov away with a front kick.
Kersikov lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Levchenko on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kersikov. Kersikov obviously looking to wear him down.
The crowd cheers as Kersikov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Levchenko doesn't seem phased though.
Kersikov lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Levchenko misses with a straight right.

Kersikov loads up on a big right hand but Levchenko slips the punch.
Kersikov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Levchenko throws a jab but it's blocked by Kersikov.
Levchenko lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Levchenko walks into a left hand.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Levchenko.
Kersikov throws a series of punches but Levchenko moves out of range.
Kersikov throws out a leg kick but Levchenko moves out of range and Kersikov only half commits.
Kersikov throws a head kick but Levchenko moves out of range.
Kersikov changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Kersikov drops Levchenko with a beautiful combination! Levchenko stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kersikov is looking for the KO!


Levchenko is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kersikov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Levchenko throws out the jab.
Levchenko throws a series of punches but Kersikov moves out of range.
Kersikov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kersikov misses with a body shot.
Levchenko throws a leg kick but Kersikov moved away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Donk. Kersikov catches Levchenko right on the button with a cross.
Kersikov lunges at Levchenko with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Levchenko's hand.
Oh Levchenko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Levchenko throws a nice head kick!
Levchenko seems to have got his legs back now.
Kersikov slips under a jab from Levchenko.

Kersikov drops Levchenko with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Levchenko looks back up at him and smiles so Kersikov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Levchenko scores with a jab.
Kersikov throws a low kick but it's checked well by Levchenko.
Kersikov drops Levchenko with a huge uppercut! Levchenko drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Kersikov is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hamish Kersikov!
