Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sponge Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nego Dobom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dobom comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bad to the bone by George Thorogood kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Nego Dobom will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nego Dobom!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dobom fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bones checks it well.
Dobom cracks the inside of Bones's front leg.
Dobom scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Bones takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've been told by Bones's head coaches at Brophy's Evil Troid Academy (BETA) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Bones gets a double leg takedown into Dobom's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Dobom wants to reverse the position here. Bones has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but Dobom is forced to tap! Dobom looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.
