Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Harris Stevenson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nemo Nautilus! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nautilus misses with a takedown attempt and Stevenson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Stevenson. Nautilus is trying to push Stevenson away but Stevenson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Stevenson successfully pulls guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Nautilus throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stevenson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nautilus is one step ahead there. Nautilus throws an elbow that misses. Stevenson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nautilus's guard. Nice move by Stevenson! Stevenson postures up in Nautilus's guard and throws a big left but Nautilus blocks it. Stevenson throws a big elbow that misses. Stevenson throwing strikes but missing.

Nemo Nautilus has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Stevenson closes the distance and clinches up with Nautilus, looking for a takedown. Stevenson pushes Nautilus against the cage but Nautilus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nautilus doesn't succeed with the takedown and Stevenson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nautilus won't be happy with that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nautilus tries to bench press Stevenson off him but Stevenson keeps the position. Stevenson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stevenson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Stevenson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Nautilus rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Stevenson's guard! Nice work there by Nautilus! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Stevenson has a closed guard, preventing Nautilus from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nautilus throws a strike but Stevenson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Nautilus utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Stevenson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Nautilus tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Stevenson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. We're going to have a standup here because Harris Stevenson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Nautilus throws a nice looking combination but Stevenson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Nautilus with a poor takedown and Stevenson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. Stevenson is looking for a kimura but Nautilus is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Stevenson to get the leverage. Nautilus keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Stevenson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nautilus's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nautilus wants to get back to full guard but Stevenson has passed into side control. Nautilus managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Stevenson.

Stevenson is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Harris Stevenson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Stevenson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nautilus connects with a decent elbow. Stevenson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Nautilus throws a strike but Stevenson avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Nautilus wants to stand and escape but instead Stevenson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Nautilus is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nautilus wants to get back to full guard but Stevenson has mounted him! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nautilus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stevenson as he jumps to the side. Nautilus has taken the fight to the clinch.

Stevenson seems keen to control Nautilus's posture. Nautilus is looking to work some ground and pound but Stevenson has wrist control. Stevenson scrambles and gets back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Stevenson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Nautilus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stevenson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nautilus looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Nautilus takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nautilus gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Nautilus jumps guard but Stevenson stands there with Nautilus around his waist. Nautilus gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Nautilus closes the distance and clinches. Nautilus jumps guard but Stevenson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Stevenson is defending well against a takedown attempt. Stevenson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nautilus is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Stevenson is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! Harris Stevenson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stevenson, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
