Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crazy Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and david aboott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pete comes to the cage accompanied by expendable youth. aboott has chosen I AM as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. aboott has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
aboott dodges the punch combination from Pete.
aboott looks gassed!
Pete shoots in for a takedown but aboott shows good takedown defense.
Pete wants to clinch.
aboott keeps the fight on the outside.
Pete tries to clinch up.
Pete bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Pete stands up.
Pete closes the distance and clinches.
aboott managing to block the knees to the body from Pete.
Pete tries for a takedown. No joy.
Pete lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Pete tries to pass to full mount but aboott defends it.
Pete missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Pete looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks aboott with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Pete seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
aboott is defending against the submission attempts here by Pete.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pete is nestled in close to aboott, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Pete is looking for a kimura but aboott is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pete to get the leverage.
aboott is looking to control Pete's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can aboott avoid being mounted?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pete lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Pete tries to pass to full mount but aboott defends it.
Pete is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, aboott has managed to free his arm - good work.
Pete is looking for a kimura but aboott is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pete to get the leverage.
Pete looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Pete is working for an americana but aboott has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Pete was thinking about the submission.

Pete lands a couple of decent looking shots.

aboott looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Pete decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
aboott fails with a takedown attempt.
Pete has his takedown stuffed
and aboott counters with a leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Crazy Pete. That's going to take a lot out of him.
