The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Shamrock as he connects with a hook.
A looping hook to the body misses from Shamrock. Know does a little dance to reset his feet.
Shamrock missing with a left hand there. Know was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
The fight stays on the outside here - Know looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Know takes a swing at Shamrock's ribcage but misses.
Know moves out of range of the leg kick from Shamrock.
Shamrock throws a lazy head kick
and Know counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Know scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Shamrock throws a left and a right that both miss
and Shamrock takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ken Shamrock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Know will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Shamrock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Know is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Know escapes and gets back to his feet.

Shamrock pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Know throws a jab but it's blocked by Shamrock.
Know slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Know closes the distance and clinches.
Shamrock is trying to break the clinch but Know has him pressed against the cage.
Know lands a nice uppercut.
Know swings wildly with an uppercut but Shamrock uses good head movement to avoid it.

Know seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Know keeps control of Shamrock as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Know tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Shamrock's elbow.

Know trying to control the position but instead, Shamrock has worked for underhooks and has pushed Know into the cage.
