Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Millard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skinner Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowe has chosen Angry Johnny & The Killbillies - A Love More True as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Millard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Skinner Crowe!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crowe looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Crowe throws an elbow that misses. Millard uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Crowe's guard. Nice move by Millard!

Crowe is looking for a triangle but Millard pushes his legs off easily.
Crowe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Millard's guard.
Millard controls Crowe momentarily but Crowe frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crowe won't allow Millard to sweep him here.
Millard not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Crowe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Crowe trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Millard is trying to control the position but Crowe postures up.

Millard keeps Crowe under control for a moment.
Crowe tries to move to full mount but Millard actually manages to regain half guard.

Crowe seems to be working for a kimura but Millard defends the submission attempt.

Crowe is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Millard is just riding it out for now. Crowe eventually gives up the hold.
Millard wants to control but Crowe is keeping busy.

Millard is trying to get back to full guard.

Millard won't allow Crowe to pass to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Crowe is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Millard sees it coming and defends easily.
Millard moves into full guard.
Millard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crowe's guard.

Crowe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Millard wants to control from the top but Crowe keeps moving.
Millard has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Crowe has his foot on Millard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Millard works his way back into a safe position though.

Crowe thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Millard is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Crowe is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Crowe throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Millard escapes and throws Crowe's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Crowe is trying to control Millard's posture but Millard avoids it.
Millard lands a decent elbow from side control.
Crowe takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Millard tries to advance to mount but Crowe denies him.
Crowe is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Millard off and has taken his back!
Millard is trying to remain composed but Crowe is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Skinner Crowe dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Crowe throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Crowe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Millard moves away.

Millard throws a nice inside leg kick.
Crowe cracks a nice hook into Millard's ribs.
Crowe throws a front kick that sends Millard stumbling back into the cage.

Crowe avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Crowe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Millard manages to avoid it.
A head kick misses from Millard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Millard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Millard lets loose with a powerful body kick. Crowe will feel that in the morning.
Millard seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Millard thows a body shot but no joy.
Crowe digs a good hook to Millard's body.
Crowe lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Crowe throws a wild body kick that Millard sees coming a mile off.
Skinner Crowe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Millard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Millard throws a body punch but Crowe moves out of range.
Good leg kick by Millard there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Millard throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Crowe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Millard.

and Millard counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Crowe thinking.
Crowe takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Crowe dives in and grabs Millard's left leg, looking for a takedown. Millard pushes down on Crowe's head and hops out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crowe shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Crowe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Millard changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Crowe lands a nice looking body kick.
Crowe avoids the body shot from Millard.
Millard lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Crowe takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Crowe throws a leg kick but Millard sees it coming and moves out of range.
Crowe ducks under a wild hook from Millard.
A nice leg kick lands there from Millard.
Bruce Millard is winning the standup battle so far.
Crowe on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Crowe throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Crowe thuds his shin into the meat of Millard's side.
Millard throws a leg kick which misses Crowe's front leg but catches the back leg as Crowe tries to avoid it.

Millard pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Crowe pushes Millard away with a front kick.
Millard checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Millard throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Some bone on bone action there as Crowe checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Millard tries a head kick but it misses.
Millard lands a nice leg kick that just misses Crowe's sensitive parts.
Millard works the jab nicely.
Millard scores with a jab. Crowe acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Crowe thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Millard if he has to take too many more of those.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Crowe.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Crowe.
Crowe fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Millard looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Crowe thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Millard if he has to take too many more of those.
Crowe is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Millard rather than just go for the knockout.
Millard avoids a punch combination nicely.
Millard scores with a hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
That kick from Crowe tenderised Millard's leg. Millard is trying to keep his angry face on.
Crowe throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A thudding body kick lands there by Crowe!
Crowe goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Crowe tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Millard throws a sloppy head kick and Crowe moves out of range easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Crowe shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Crowe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Crowe dives in for a single leg takedown but Millard sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Bruce Millard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Skinner Crowe.
Millard throws a punch but it's blocked by Crowe.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bruce Millard showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Millard has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
