The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plessis goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Bugio Maldon has been cut.
Plessis scores with a nice body kick.
Plessis throws a head kick that half lands.
Crunch! Plessis slams his shin into Maldon's torso.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Plessis.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A thudding body kick lands there by Plessis!
Maldon on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Plessis. Plessis obviously looking to wear him down.
The crowd cheers as Plessis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Maldon doesn't seem phased though.
Plessis scores with a head kick. Maldon tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Maldon is rocked!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Plessis.
Maldon is breathing heavily.
Maldon throws a body punch but Plessis moves out of range.
Plessis lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Plessis looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Plessis backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Maldon's temple! It sends Maldon violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Plessis celebrates and the doctors try to help Maldon!
