Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Warwick Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borin Chim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borin Chim has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Warwick Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Borin Chim! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot lands for Chim. Davis takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A decent looking cross lands there for Chim. Davis has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Darwinism in the buildup to the fight. Chim misses with a low kick as Davis jumps back. Davis walks forward, straight into a front kick from Chim. Nice jab there from Chim. Chim blocks the body kick.
Davis blocks a leg kick. Davis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Davis using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Chim has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Chim manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chim doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Davis really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Davis tries to throw a body punch but Chim avoids it by throwing Davis back against the cage. Chim taking a breather. Chim misses with a short punch on the inside. Chim tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Good body shot from Chim.

That's one minute gone in the round. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Chim creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Chim lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Davis or not. Davis prevents a body shot from Chim. A nice right hand lands inside from Chim. Davis tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Chim avoids it. Davis blocking some punches.
Chim swings wildly with an uppercut but Davis uses good head movement to avoid it. Chim has a couple of punches blocked by Davis.

Chim has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Davis after a bit of a struggle. Davis being controlled against the cage. Chim dodges an elbow strike from Davis.

Davis goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Chim tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Davis goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chim tries to score a body lock takedown but Davis shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Davis lands an elbow that stopped Chim in his tracks for a moment. Chim goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Davis blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Chim misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Davis unloads a knee to the mid-section. Chim breaks from the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A big right from Davis misses. Chim works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Warwick Davis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Davis scores with a jab to the body. Chim has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Chim slips a jab from Davis. Davis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chim.
Chim on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Davis. Davis obviously looking to wear him down.
Chim lands a really nice looking cross but Davis seems unphased.
Chim tries to land a front kick but Davis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Davis blocks a head kick by Chim.
Chim takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Chim scores with a head kick. Davis tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Chim takes one to the side of the head.
Chim misses the jab. Davis with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

and Chim counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Davis! This has been an exciting period of action! Davis is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Davis is looking for a sweep. Chim is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Chim throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Davis to regain full guard. Davis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chim moves into full guard.
Chim is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Davis won't allow Chim to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Chim is looking to sweep but instead, Davis has passed into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Borin Chim dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Davis throws a left and a right that both miss
and Chim counters with a takedown into side control. Davis dodges the ground and pound from Chim. Chim in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Chim is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Chim working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Chim.
Davis regains half guard, as Chim was trying to land strikes. Chim throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Davis to regain full guard. Davis wants to sweep here but Chim controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chim trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. Davis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Chim trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Borin Chim. Nice sprawl there from Davis as Chim shoots in. Chim misses with a low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Chim, right into the meat.
Borin Chim seems to be getting the better of the standup. Chim tries a head kick but it misses.

Davis throws a leg kick and Chim counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Chim has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Chim throwing shots but Davis is blocking nicely. Davis wants to improve his position but Chim is controlling well.
Chim trying to control the action but Davis is working from the bottom. Chim thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Davis's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chim is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Chim trying to control from Davis's half guard. Davis has other ideas though and has regained full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chim sitting in guard here, content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Borin Chim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Chim throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Davis's waist but Davis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chim off to one side. Chim tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Chim checks the leg kick nicely there.
Chim scores with a spinning back kick! Chim lands a glancing blow to the side of Davis's head. Donk. Chim catches Davis right on the button with a cross. Chim uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Davis. Davis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Chim. Chim throws a right hand that misses
and Chim takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Chim with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Davis pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Davis throws the kick towards the body but Chim avoids it. An inside leg kick from Chim misses. Davis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Chim closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Davis's guard. Davis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Chim loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Davis keeping moving, preventing Chim from controlling successfully. Borin Chim has got the better of the ground game so far.
We're going to have a standup here because Warwick Davis wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Davis feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Chim's calf. Chim fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chim stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Davis. Chim clobbers Davis with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Chim is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Chim shoots for a double leg takedown but Davis sprawls well. He's pushed Chim's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Davis waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Chim. Davis moves out of range of the strikes. Davis takes a jab right on the kisser.

Davis tries to clinch up. Chim looks to throw the jab but Davis is out of range. Warwick Davis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Davis tries to move into range but Chim moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Chim throws out a leg kick but Davis moves out of range and Chim only half commits. Chim misses with a low kick as Davis jumps back. Chim lands an overhand right. Chim lands with a kick to the ribs.
Borin Chim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis tries a low kick but Chim avoids it. A big right from Davis misses. A slow jab from Davis misses its intended target. Chim uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Davis avoids the body shot from Chim.
Chim has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Chim bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Davis defending against the ground and pound. Chim lands a decent elbow from side control. Chim is looking to take a break and control but Davis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The strikes coming from Chim are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chim misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Davis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chim scores with a couple of short elbows.
And that's the end of the fight! Borin Chim comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Chim has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
