Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cristopher Porter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kenny Smith! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Porter defending well as Smith loads up on a big left hand. Porter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Porter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Porter prevents Smith from improving his position. Porter is nestled in close to Smith, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Porter working the head and body with strikes. Smith is defending against the submission attempts here by Porter.

That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Smith manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Smith looking to hit a scissor sweep but Porter is one step ahead there. Smith working a defensive guard here.
Porter is in close to Smith's body, working some short punches and elbows. Smith has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Porter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Smith is on top in guard.
Porter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Smith wants to control from the top but Porter keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith passes Porter's left leg - he's now in half guard. Smith trying to control the action but Porter is working from the bottom. Porter looks like he's trying to stand up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Porter is trying to stand up here but Smith is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith controlling the pace. Smith passes to full mount! Smith wants to control the pace but Porter is squirming around nicely. Smith avoids the attempt from Porter to control. Porter's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Porter is controlling an arm, preventing Smith from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Smith tries to control but Porter wriggling away. Porter wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Smith throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Smith has good solid back control here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Porter can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kenny Smith dominated that round. The cut man is working on Cristopher Porter's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Porter shoots in but no luck this time. Porter misses with a takedown attempt so Smith counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Porter swivels though and keeps the full guard. Porter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Porter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Smith accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Smith trying to control but Porter is working from the bottom. Smith slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Smith postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Porter shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cristopher Porter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Porter. Porter takes one on the button. Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Porter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Porter tries to clinch up. Porter is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Porter wants to clinch up but Smith keeps it at a distance. Smith keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Porter tries to clinch but Smith moves away and Smith decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Porter's guard. Porter keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Porter wants to stand but Smith is controlling the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Porter can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Smith controls the pace. Smith slips nicely into half guard. Smith is trying to control the action in half guard but Porter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Porter wants to control but Smith is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Kenny Smith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Cristopher Porter's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Smith slaps away a takedown attempt from Porter, before circling back to the center of the mat. Porter blocks a head kick by Smith.

Porter tries to clinch up and Smith counters with a shoot takedown. Porter fights it but they end up in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Porter is keeping the position for now. Smith slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Porter can't do much from the bottom here. Smith fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Smith is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Porter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Porter is being controlled here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith wants to control but Porter is keeping him busy. Porter is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Smith asserts his dominance and retains side control. You can see the frustration on Porter's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Smith swings around for an armbar but Porter sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Smith's guard. Smith is looking to sweep but instead, Porter has passed into half guard.
Kenny Smith has got the better of the ground game so far. Smith moves into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Porter is looking to work some ground and pound but Smith has wrist control. Smith avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Smith manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith takes Porter's back. Porter trying to control but not successfully. Porter looking very determined here, making life difficult for Smith.
Porter is trying to get back to his feet but Smith has full control of the position and if anything, Porter has just worked his way into a worse spot. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Smith avoiding Porter 's attempts to control his hands. Porter showing good submission defense here.
And that's the end of the fight! Kenny Smith comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Smith winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
