Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damian Acevedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Majk Mikel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damian Acevedo has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Damian Acevedo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Majk Mikel!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikel tries to clinch
and Acevedo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Acevedo moves into the clinch.
Acevedo swings wildly with an uppercut but Mikel uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mikel managing to block the knees to the body from Acevedo.
Mikel blocks an elbow strike.
Mikel turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mikel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Acevedo keeps working.
Acevedo really is a fat lump.
Mikel looking to control but instead Acevedo has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Mikel is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Acevedo defends it well.
Mikel is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Mikel is looking for a kimura but Acevedo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mikel to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Acevedo is trying to maintain the position but Mikel is very close to passing his half guard.
Mikel is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Acevedo!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Acevedo tries to hold on but Mikel pushes him away.
Mikel can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Acevedo is looking to escape.
Mikel with a couple of short strikes.
Acevedo wants to control but Mikel is having none of it.
Acevedo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mikel on the ground.
Mikel is working for a guillotine from mount but Acevedo frees his head quite easily.
Mikel can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Acevedo is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mikel prevents Acevedo from getting the reversal.
Mikel scoring with strikes but Acevedo is staying in there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Acevedo has left one of his arms exposed and Mikel doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Acevedo screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
