PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pieter Daan Left Right (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Raider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Left Right comes into the arena with Lose yourself eminem blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Duke Raider!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Raider sends Left Right crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Raider is motioning to the referee to let Left Right up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Left Right is rocked!

It looks like Pieter Daan Left Right has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Left Right looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Raider is fending him off so far but Left Right persists. Nope, Raider circles away and we're back to standing.
Oh Left Right is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Raider swats away the attempt to clinch by Left Right.
Left Right seems to have got his legs back now.
A punch combination from Raider misses.
Raider thows a left - swing and a miss!
Left Right darts in looking for a takedown but Raider gets double underhooks and turns Left Right into the cage.
Raider goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Raider breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Raider leaves Left Right with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pieter Daan Left Right. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Left Right is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Left Right goes for a double leg but Raider avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Raider continues to drive forward.
Raider misses with a knee strike.
Come on Raider - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Raider receives a warning from the referee for stalling.

Raider escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Left Right moves away from the strike by Raider.
Left Right moves out of range as Raider strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Left Right is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Left Right fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Raider cracks Left Right with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Left Right tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Raider pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Left Right is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Duke Raider!
