The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stinson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No joy there for Malaki Jr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Stinson moves forwards but Malaki Jr connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Malaki Jr throws a series of strikes that have Stinson backpedaling.

Malaki Jr lands with a straight right. Stinson didn't see that one coming.
Malaki Jr feints a jab promting Stinson to slip. Malaki Jr then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Stinson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Yancy Malaki Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stinson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Malaki Jr.
Stinson misses with a lunging right hand
and Malaki Jr makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Malaki Jr lands with a right hand.
Malaki Jr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stinson needs to keep his hands up - Malaki Jr had a free shot at his head there.
Malaki Jr throws a shot to the body.
Stinson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Malaki Jr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Stinson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Malaki Jr throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Stinson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Malaki Jr connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stinson scrambles back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Malaki Jr cracks Stinson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Malaki Jr scores with a jab. Stinson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Malaki Jr connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Stinson's hands.
Malaki Jr keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Malaki Jr scores with a one two! Stinson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Stinson is rocked!
Malaki Jr paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Oh Stinson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stinson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nice uppercut lands for Malaki Jr. That snapped Stinson's head back.
Malaki Jr fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stinson on the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yancy Malaki Jr dominated that round.

Stinson looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Stinson tries to clinch up but Malaki Jr circles away and keeps his distance.
