Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ashton Eaton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefano Kolano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eaton kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eminem - Berzerk. Stefano Kolano is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ashton Eaton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stefano Kolano! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kolano keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Eaton looks to land a right hand but Kolano moved out of range. Kolano gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Eaton counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kolano shoots and misses and Eaton connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kolano doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kolano fails with the takedown and Eaton counters with a stiff right hand. Ashton Eaton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stefano Kolano. Eaton connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kolano. Kolano circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Stefano Kolano has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Eaton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kolano is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kolano with a poor takedown and Eaton connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kolano is rocked! Eaton closes the distance and pushes Kolano back into the cage. Kolano working hard to break the clinch. Eaton successfully pulls guard.
Kolano wants to stand but Eaton has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Eaton has Kolano pulled in close to control his posture. Eaton is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kolano is aware though and is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kolano is posturing up here but Eaton has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kolano tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kolano has to tap! Slick submission there by Eaton!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ashton Eaton!
