Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bosma tries to avoid it but Lawton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bosma to the ground. Bosma escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lawton fails with a takedown attempt.
Lawton tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bosma sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lawton somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johny Lawton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lawton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lawton closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bosma circles away.
Bosma misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Lawton postures up in Bosma's guard and throws a big left but Bosma blocks it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lawton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lawton slips nicely into half guard.
Lawton wants to control but Bosma is keeping him busy.
Lawton looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Lawton is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bosma is just riding it out for now. Lawton eventually gives up the hold.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lawton works his foot free and advances to mount.

Lawton is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Lawton extends the arm and Bosma is forced to tap!
