Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liquid Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob The Robber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Liquid Snake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bob The Robber!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Robber moves in looking to clinch but Snake pushes him off.
Snake bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Snake goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Snake closes this distance looking for a takedown but The Robber circles away.
Snake keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The Robber misses with a takedown
and Snake counters with a series of strikes. The Robber will be more careful next time no doubt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The Robber throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The Robber tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Snake is able to avoid easily.
The Robber shoots in but no luck this time.
Liquid Snake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob The Robber.
Snake keeps the fight on the outside.

Snake has closed the distance and engaged The Robber in a clinch.
Come on Snake - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
The Robber goes for a takedown in the clinch but Snake prevents it.

Snake stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
The Robber jumps guard but Snake turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

The Robber breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Snake.
Snake checks the leg kick nicely there.
Snake throws a hook but The Robber avoids it easily.
The Robber uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Snake.
The Robber on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Snake tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and The Robber counters with a nice double leg into side control. Snake won't be happy with that.
The Robber has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Brick Brawlers MMA (12 Coaches). Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The Robber sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Snake is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The Robber decides to stand back up. The Robber steps back and let's Snake get back to his feet.
The Robber tries to move into range but Snake moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Snake swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The Robber is looking to clinch.
Snake throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The Robber avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A big left from The Robber misses.
A leg kick checked by Snake.
The Robber avoids the body shot from Snake.
The Robber slips a jab and a cross from Snake.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The Robber shoots in looking for a takedown. Snake tries to sprawl out of it but The Robber keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Snake manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Snake rushes The Robber and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The Robber is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Snake is defending well.
Snake stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
The Robber goes for a takedown in the clinch but Snake prevents it.
A frustrated look appears on Snake's face as he tries to break the clinch.

The Robber is struggling to control the position.
The Robber continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

Snake pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice uppercut lands for Snake. That snapped The Robber's head back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Snake misses with a hook.
The Robber tries to clinch there but Snake circles away.
Snake blocks a head kick by The Robber.
Snake misses with a takedown attempt - The Robber sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Liquid Snake dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


The Robber shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Snake as he jumps to the side.
Liquid Snake is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The Robber has a takedown stuffed.
Snake avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The Robber darts in looking for a takedown but Snake gets double underhooks and turns The Robber into the cage.
Liquid Snake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob The Robber.

The Robber's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Snake throws a right and a left that both miss.

Snake scores with a takedown into The Robber's guard.
The Robber tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Snake controls from within his opponent's guard.

The Robber keeping full guard, as Snake tries to pass.
The Robber is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Liquid Snake just wasn't active enough.
The Robber shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Snake as he avoids it easily.

Snake tries to clinch there but The Robber circles away.
Snake fails to land the takedown.
Snake tries to close the distance and clinch but The Robber swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Snake just misses with a punch to the body.
Snake needs to keep his hands up - The Robber had a free shot at his head there.
Snake blocks a head kick by The Robber.
A lazy left from Snake finds it's target.
The Robber shoots in for a double leg but Snake sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The Robber tries to score a power double leg takedown but Snake sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten The Robber somewhat.
Snake is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The Robber fails in his attempt to clinch.

Snake stalks The Robber and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into The Robber's face. The Robber staggers backwards, shaken.
Snake takes a swing at The Robber's ribcage but misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from The Robber. Snake does a little dance to reset his feet.
Snake tried to score with a low kick but The Robber checks it.
The Robber doesn't manage to clinch there - Snake circles away.
The Robber will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Snake looks for a takedown but The Robber sprawls well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The Robber lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

The Robber is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Snake gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

The Robber tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Snake just stands there and leans against the cage.
The Robber goes for a takedown attempt but Snake pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
The Robber throws a leg kick but Snake moved away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The Robber walks into a stiff left hand from Snake.
The Robber misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Snake lands with a right hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The Robber clinches with his opponent.

The Robber escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Liquid Snake will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

It looks like Snake has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Robber closes the distance and clinches up with Snake, looking for a takedown. The Robber pushes Snake against the cage but Snake circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Snake ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
No joy there for Snake, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Liquid Snake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Snake misses with a low kick as The Robber jumps back.
The Robber gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Bob The Robber has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The Robber throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The Robber tries to pull guard but Snake holds him up against the cage and eventually The Robber drops back down to his feet.

Liquid Snake is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The Robber is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Snake pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Liquid Snake showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Snake, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
