Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vevrin Betlach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yury Vesnev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Betlach kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Zombie. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Betlach takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Betlach connects with a right hand. Vesnev shakes it off.
Vesnev jabs at Betlach's body.
Betlach checks a low kick from Vesnev.
Betlach takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Betlach fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vesnev manages to avoid it.

Betlach scores with a hook to the body. Vesnev takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

A lazy left from Vesnev finds it's target.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Vesnev has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Vesnev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Betlach tries to avoid it but Vesnev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Betlach to the ground. Betlach escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vesnev fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Betlach sprawls well initially but Vesnev persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Vesnev is thwarting Betlach's attempts to control the position.
Betlach tries to roll over but Vesnev keeps him under control.

Betlach will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Betlach feints and then cracks Vesnev's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vesnev down.

Yury Vesnev comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Vesnev has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
