Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Kiedis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kiedis comes to the cage accompanied by Tupac. Kyle has chosen Big Booty Woman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Johnny Kiedis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johnny Kiedis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Kyle!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiedis scoring well with a low kick there.
Kiedis throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kyle counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kiedis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kyle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kiedis lands a nice shot to the body.
Kiedis explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Kyle misses the shot to the body.
Kiedis defending well as Kyle loads up on a big left hand.
Kyle needs to keep his hands up - Kiedis had a free shot at his head there.
Kyle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kiedis tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

and Kyle counters with a series of strikes. Kiedis will be more careful next time no doubt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kiedis thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kyle if he has to take too many more of those.

Johnny Kiedis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kiedis throws a series of strikes that have Kyle backpedaling.
Kyle fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kiedis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kiedis moves out of range of the strikes.
Kyle doesn't manage to clinch there - Kiedis circles away.
Kiedis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Kyle counters with a straight right hand.

A nice leg kick lands there from Kyle.

This has been an exciting period of action!

and Kyle counters with a right hand to the body.

Kiedis connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kyle misses with an uppercut. Kiedis saw that one coming.
Kiedis feints and then cracks Kyle's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kyle down.

and Kiedis counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kyle's knee momentarily.
Kyle is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Kiedis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kyle.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kiedis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kyle has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kyle and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Kiedis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kiedis throws a head kick but Kyle moves out of range.

Kiedis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kyle.

Kiedis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kiedis tries to keep at a distance but Kyle has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kiedis working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Kyle struggles to land a body shot inside as Kiedis controls his hands.

Kiedis throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kyles head.
Kyle lands an uppercut.
Kiedis tries to circle away but Kyle has him pinned against the cage.
Kiedis wants to break free but Kyle has control.

Kiedis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kiedis misses with a body shot
and Kyle counters with a left to the body.
Kiedis moves out of range of the leg kick from Kyle.
Kyle buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kiedis scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kiedis lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kyle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kiedis moves away.
A big right from Kyle misses.
Kyle plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Kiedis connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kiedis lands a big head kick that sends Kyle to the canvas! Kiedis follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Kiedis!
Johnny Kiedis decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
