Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mr Bronze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mr Bronze! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Derek Riggs! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronze throws a leg kick but Riggs moved away. Riggs tries to land a leg kick but Bronze saw it coming and moves away.
Bronze on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Riggs ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A jab from Riggs misses. Bronze pivots, looking for a leg kick but Riggs is out of range and Bronze settles back down. Riggs throws out a loose jab but Bronze uses good head movement to avoid it. Bronze has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Riggs lands with a good body shot. Riggs takes one to the chin there. Riggs ducks under a wild hook from Bronze. Riggs with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Bronze throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Riggs cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Riggs throws a hook but Bronze avoids it easily. Bronze throws out a leg kick but Riggs moves out of range and Bronze only half commits. Bronze lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riggs tries a low kick but Bronze avoids it. Bronze swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bronze misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Riggs looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bronze! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Riggs landing strikes. Bronze is looking to reverse the position. Riggs advances to full mount. Riggs throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Riggs lands a big elbow.
Bronze is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Riggs raining down shots from the mount! Oh Bronze is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bronze is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Riggs postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Bronze in real trouble here! The ref calls for Bronze to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Derek Riggs! A relieved looking Derek Riggs thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
