The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schittd misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Peters.
Decent striking displayed by Schittd there. Peters takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Schittd throws a jab but it's blocked by Peters. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Schittd has eaten all the pies! A combination from Schittd does no damage. Schittd with a nice cross. Schittd looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Schittd lands a jab to the head.
Schittd misses with a straight left. Peters takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Peters gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Schittd. Schittd with a jab. Jack Schittd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schittd scores with a sloppy right hand. Peters should have avoided that one. Schittd throws a lazy right hand but Peters sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A telegraphed right hand from Schittd misses the target. Schittd is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Peters had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Peters misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Schittd takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Peters shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Schittd defends it nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Schittd stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Schittd wants it to stay on the feet. Peters thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Peters throws an elbow but Schittd slips to the side and avoids it well.

Schittd is looking for a sweep. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Peters shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Schittd defends it nicely. Schittd feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Peterss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Jack Schittd is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A telegraphed right hand from Schittd misses the target. Jack Schittd seems to be getting the better of the standup. Peters tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Schittd defends well and Peters ends up having to push Schittd into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pat Peters. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schittd tries to circle away but Peters has him pinned against the cage. Peters pulls guard effortlessly. Peters has a closed guard, preventing Schittd from standing up. Peters bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Schittd's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Schittd can do anything to dispel that myth. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Schittd is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peters drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Peters jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Peters looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Peters slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Peters just content to control the position. Peters is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Schittd knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Peters moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Schittd swings for the body but Peters moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Peters or perhaps it was just good defense by Schittd which made him look bad. Schittd throws a jab when Peters was well out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schittd fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Peters on the side of the head. Peters shoots in looking for a takedown. Schittd tries to sprawl out of it but Peters keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Schittd manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pat Peters. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peters takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Peters pushes Schittd against the cage but Schittd circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Schittd lands a jab. Schittd sizes up Peters with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. A punch lands to the side of Peters 's head but he takes it in his stride. Schittd tests Peters's chin there with a solid looking shot. Peters fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Schittd works the jab nicely. Schittd scores with a jab to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schittd lands an overhand right. Schittd throws out a powerful jab. Schittd fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Peters on the side of the head. Schittd connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Peters walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Schittd keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Peters takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Peters on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Schittd bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Peters's head. Schittd lands a lovely overhand right. Schittd tries to score with a low kick but Peters moves his leg out of the way. Schittd takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Schittd jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Schittd scores with a punch to the head. Nice cross by Schittd. Peters takes a shot right to the bread basket. Schittd lands with a straight right. Peters didn't see that one coming. Schittd misses with the combination.
Schittd stuns Peters with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Schittd slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Peters blocks a head kick by Schittd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Schittd cracks Peters with a right hand to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Peters shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Schittd as he jumps to the side. Peters fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Schittd comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Schittd winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
