Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Conan Crom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Murry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crom comes to the cage accompanied by Anvil of Crom. On his way into the cage it seems that Conan Crom has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Conan Crom seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Conan Crom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Murry! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murry shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Crom defends it nicely. Crom works Murry's body with a nice hook. Crom lands a really nice looking cross but Murry seems unphased.
Crom buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Murry looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Crom is fending him off so far but Murry persists. Nope, Crom circles away and we're back to standing. Murry shoots in but Crom avoids the takedown attempt easily. Conan Crom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Murry. Murry scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Murry trying to work for an americana but Crom has managed to regain full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murry trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Crom is trying to keep Murry in close.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Conan Crom wasn't doing enough on the ground. Crom connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murry shoots in but Crom avoids the takedown attempt easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Murry. Crom lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Murry looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Crom! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Murry working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Murry looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Crom is trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murry looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Murry is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Crom is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Murry goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Crom rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Murry's guard! Nice work there by Crom!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crom advances to half guard. Murry tries to get to full guard but Crom has control of the leg. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crom is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Conan Crom will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Murry tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Crom defends well and Murry ends up having to push Crom into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Murry changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Crom fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Murry shoots in and gets a takedown into Crom's guard. Murry trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Crom is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murry trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Crom manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Crom sitting in guard, not really doing much. Crom has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Murry has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Crom can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Crom pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Murry is keeping the position for now. Murry keeping moving, preventing Crom from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murry looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Crom puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Crom's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Crom prevents Murry from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murry makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Murry. Crom seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Crom forces his way into half guard. Crom wants to lay and pray for a moment but Murry keeps working. Murry wants to improve his position but Crom is controlling well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crom wants to pass to mount but Murry is defending the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Joe Murry will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Murry misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Murry shoots in looking for a takedown. Crom tries to sprawl out of it but Murry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crom manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. This has been an exciting period of action! Crom uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crom lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Murry goes down and covers up as Crom starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
