Washington passes Eddy's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Washington is pressing down on Eddy's thigh, looking to free his foot. Eddy is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Eddy looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Washington stalling away here and it's allowed Eddy to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Washington trying to control but Eddy is working from the bottom.

Eddy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Washington defends well.
Washington told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Washington is working to tighten his grip on Eddy's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Eddy has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Washington is really squeezing tight and eventually Eddy passes out! Washington breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
