Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ramiro Hartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Heins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heins is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eye of the Tiger. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ramiro Hartman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Henry Heins! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heins decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Hartman is positioning himself well to prevent Heins advancing to mount. Hartman gets back to full guard.
Hartman working for a triangle but Heins defends it easily.
Heins is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hartman is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hartman works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Heins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hartman pulls Heins in close to prevent any damage.
Ramiro Hartman has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Heins tries to clinch up but Hartman circles away and keeps his distance. Heins tries to clinch but Hartman is having none of it. Hartman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We're going to have a standup here because Ramiro Hartman wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Hartman tries for a takedown but Heins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hartman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Heins closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hartman's guard. Hartman pulls Heins in close to prevent any damage.

Heins scores with a takedown into Hartman's guard. Hartman is pulling down on Heins's head to control his posture. Heins wants to control from the top but Hartman keeps moving. Henry Heins has got the better of the ground game so far. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hartman gets a double leg takedown into Heins's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hartman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Heins lands a decent punch to the body there. Hartman working some strikes from top position. Hartman throws a big elbow that misses. Heins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hartman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hartman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hartman is in close to Heins's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hartman scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Hartman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hartman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hartman is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hartman throws a big elbow that misses. Hartman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hartman throwing strikes from guard but Heins blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hartman stands up from Heins's guard - Hartman perhaps looking for a knockout. A combination from Hartman does no damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Heins tries to clinch but Hartman is having none of it. Henry Heins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hartman shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Heins eats them both and turns towards Hartman to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Heins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hartman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Heins is in Hartman's guard. Hartman controlling Heins's posture. Hartman working for a triangle but Heins defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Heins trying to control but Hartman is working from the bottom. Hartman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Heins manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hartman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hartman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hartman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hartman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hartman distracts Heins with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hartman cracks Heins with a solid left hand. Hartman throws a big elbow that misses. Hartman stands up and waves to Heins to follow him. Heins tries to clinch but Hartman moves out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Heins shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Heins showed some decent athleticism there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ramiro Hartman dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hartman not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hartman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Heins sees it coming and defends easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hartman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hartman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Heins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hartman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Hartman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Heins is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hartman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Heins is trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Heins struggling a bit here. Heins pecks away with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Hartman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Heins knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hartman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hartman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hartman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
