Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garendil Radziecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Radziecki has chosen Krasnaja Armija as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radziecki slaps away a takedown attempt from Melendez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Melendez dodges the punch combination from Radziecki.
Melendez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Radziecki is trying to force a seperation but Melendez has the dominant position.

Radziecki has Melendez pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Radziecki pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Melendez tumbling to the mat - Radziecki dives into Melendez's guard.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Melendez manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Radziecki has had enough of the clinch but Melendez keeps him there for the moment.

Melendez is looking to regain half guard here but Radziecki keeps moving and retains side control.
Melendez pushes Radziecki away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Radziecki gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
A lull in the action here as Radziecki stalls from top position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
