Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, replay. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Robert Dobczynski enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Robert Dobczynski!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones drives through with a takedown into Dobczynski's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

That was a close round but I would say that John Jones will probably get the nod.

We've been informed that Dobczynski has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Dobczynski tries to control but Jones wriggling away.
Dobczynski fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dobczynski on the ground.
Dobczynski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Dobczynski is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jones can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Dobczynski has hold of Jones's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jones manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Dobczynski is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jones has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dobczynski is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jones has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jones!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dobczynski controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robert Dobczynski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!



Jones manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dobczynski on his heels. He'll look to pass Dobczynski's guard now, I'm sure.
Jones is fighting to break Dobczynski's control of his arms but Dobczynski is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Jones postures up in Dobczynski's guard and throws a big left but Dobczynski blocks it.
Dobczynski is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Dobczynski tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Dobczynski has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Jones avoids a series of strikes thrown by Dobczynski.

Dobczynski swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jones is now in Dobczynski's guard. A big mistake from Dobczynski there, giving up the dominant position!

Jones throws a strike but Dobczynski rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Dobczynski is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Jones frees his head nicely. Oh but Dobczynski has switched to an armbar! Jones is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
