Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Maccarone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying James's choice of entrance music: Tuesday's Gone. On his way into the cage it seems that Charlie Maccarone has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Charlie Maccarone seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James misses with a body shot
and Maccarone counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Maccarone uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
James shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maccarone is trying to control but can't.
James not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
James is thwarting Maccarone's attempts to control the position.
Maccarone really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, James cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

James lands a big shot there that rocks Maccarone but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The referee warns Maccarone that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

James connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Maccarone tries to lock up and control but James gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
James loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Maccarone scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from James land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. James stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy James!
