The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho connects with a good right hand that stumbles Auzier. Auzier circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Carvalho throws a looping overhand right but Auzier ducks down to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Carvalho might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Auzier's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Carvalho connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Auzier scrambles back to his feet.

Auzier shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Carvalho sprawls well. Carvalho wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Auzier gets slowly back to his feet.

and Carvalho counters with a three punch combo that has Auzier backing up. Auzier nods at Carvalho to acknowledge the strikes.

Auzier takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Auzier is defended easily by Carvalho.

Auzier shoots in and drives through. Carvalho sprawls well.
Auzier looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Carvalho is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Auzier has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Auzier is working to tighten his grip on Carvalho's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Carvalho has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Auzier is really squeezing tight and eventually Carvalho passes out! Auzier breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

A relieved looking Adriano Auzier thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
