Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Auguste Grimm!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kann moves out of range as Grimm strikes.
Grimm slips a jab from Kann.
Kann throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Grimm tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kann is in Grimm's guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Kann's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Grimm preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Kann working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Kann is posturing up here but Grimm has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kann tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kann has to tap! Slick submission there by Grimm!

Auguste Grimm was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
