The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sampaio scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Sampaio throws the left hand but Salvacion avoids the punch easily.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Sampaio.
Emong Salvacion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sampaio smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Salvacion is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sampaio.
We've been hearing reports that Salvacion has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
