Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albin Han (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen booker T as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Albin Han has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Han shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Silva lands a nice shot to the body.
Han gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Silva to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Silva drops back looking for a leg! Han is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Han manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Han's guard.

Han makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Han throws a strike but Silva rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Let's hope that Silva has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Han has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Silva working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like Silva might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Silva shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Han manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

and Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Han gets tackled into the cage by Silva. Silva maintains the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Han with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Silva has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Han defend it? Silva steps over the head and cranks it - Han is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Silva!
