Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Dash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliver Williams has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oliver Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Dash!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Skip Squint and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dash tries to keep at a distance but Williams has taken the fight into the clinch.

Williams has clasped his hands together around Dash's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Dash is trying to get back to his feet.
Williams working away.
Dash is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Williams is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Dash can't escape the position.
Dash is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Dash is bucking up trying to escape but Williams cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Dash sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dash is trying to control but can't.
Dash wants to get back to full guard.

Williams decides to stand up.
Williams misses with a combination
and Dash counters with a head kick.

Williams shoots in and bounces Dash off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Williams gets to his feet. Dash looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Williams moves into the clinch.

Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dash misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dash pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Williams swinging wildly here.

Dash lands with a kick to the temple. Williams shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

and Williams counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Williams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dash tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Williams pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Williams avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Williams instigates a clinch.
Dash is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Williams gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Dash regains guard.

Williams gets to his feet - Dash follows without any prompting.
Johnny Dash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Williams changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dash looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Dash is looking to reverse the position.

Williams thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Dash tries to improve position but can't.
Williams slows the pace down.
Dash takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Williams decides to stand back up. Williams steps back and let's Dash get back to his feet.

Williams scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Dash tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Williams wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Dash throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Williams remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Dash tries to buck Williams off but Williams is having none of it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dash throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dash gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Williams to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Williams drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dash dives on top into guard.

Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dash on the ground.
Dash wants to stand but Williams has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Williams is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Williams looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dash with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Dash tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Williams throwing shots but Dash is blocking nicely.
Dash wants to get back to his feet.

Dash is refusing to be controlled, as Williams sits in half guard.
Williams landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dash is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Williams pulls his head out easily.
Williams not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Dash is not content to let Williams control the position.

Williams is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Dash trying to hold on to Williams's head to control him but Williams postures up.

Dash tries to roll over but Williams keeps him under control.
Williams wants to free his trapped foot but Dash is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dash tries to clinch but Williams moves out of range.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dash.
Dash is looking to chop away at Williams's legs.
Dash tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dash lands with a kick to the ribs.
A head kick from Dash lands but Williams takes it in his stride.
Williams takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Williams takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

and Williams counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dash won't be happy with that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dash wants to hold on but Williams pushes him away.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Dash sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Dash is refusing to be controlled, as Williams sits in half guard.
Dash is trying to maintain the position but Williams is very close to passing his half guard.
Dash is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Williams's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Williams's back!

Dash is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Williams defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Dash misses with a punch to the head.
Dash tries to get the hooks in deep but Williams pushed the leg off.
Dash keeps control of the position as Williams tries to break free.
Dash has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Williams.
Oliver Williams overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Williams is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Williams just trying to survive but Dash is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Dash thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Dash scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Williams is looking for a way out.
Williams trying to control the hands but Dash won't let him.

Dash lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Williams.

Dash is not going to allow Williams to sit and survive in this position.
Williams tries to break free.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dash throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Williams!

And that's the end of the fight!
Johnny Dash comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Williams has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
