The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liston drops Makarov with a right and a left! Liston comes rushing in but Makarov regains his composure and manages to keep Liston in guard.
Makarov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Liston is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Liston looking to pass the guard.
Makarov working a defensive guard but Liston passes into half guard.

Makarov tries to roll over but Liston keeps him under control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Liston connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Makarov momentarily.
Makarov is rocked!
Makarov slips a jab and a cross from Liston.

Liston throws an overhand right that has Makarov reeling! Liston follows up with more punches and Makarov is out cold! This one is all over!
