Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan DePloi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Enrico Ipegacia!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DePloi has his takedown stuffed
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Ipegacia scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. DePloi doesn't seem bothered though.
Ipegacia misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ipegacia, right into the meat.
Ipegacia cracks DePloi with a good jab.
Ipegacia throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Ipegacia moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
DePloi takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
DePloi on the wrong end of a nice hook.
DePloi shoots and misses
and Ipegacia counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
DePloi takes a head kick and keeps coming.
DePloi is rocked!
DePloi fails with the takedown
and Ipegacia counters by moving into the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan DePloi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A short uppercut from Ipegacia.
Oh DePloi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ipegacia is pressed up against the cage. DePloi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ipegacia down to the mat. Ipegacia avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
DePloi seems to have got his legs back now.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for DePloi. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Ipegacia ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ipegacia lands a brutal head kick. DePloi looks out on his feet and Ipegacia throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
