Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ramazan Astakhov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Voa Bruxao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Astakhov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bruxao's waist but Bruxao gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Astakhov off to one side.
Astakhov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bruxao throws out a loose jab but Astakhov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Astakhov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bruxao throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Astakhov just misses with a punch to the body.
Bruxao throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Astakhov.
Bruxao jabs Astakhov right on the nose. Astakhov blinks but takes it well.
Nice defenses there by Astakhov.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bruxao darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Astakhov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bruxao as he avoids it easily.

Astakhov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bruxao sprawls well initially but Astakhov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Astakhov is trying to control the action in half guard but Bruxao is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Astakhov is nestled in close to Bruxao, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bruxao should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Astakhov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bruxao with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Astakhov lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Astakhov is trying for a kimura here. Bruxao looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Astakhov wins by kimura!
