Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sergio Pettis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Eduard Sporw!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pettis closes the distance and pushes Sporw back into the cage.

Sporw is fighting off a takedown attempt but Pettis is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sporw to the mat. Sporw regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Pettis trying to control but Sporw is working from the bottom.
Pettis tries to free his leg and advance position but Sporw is retaining full guard.
Pettis trying to control the position from guard on top but Sporw is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sergio Pettis.

Pettis clinches up with Sporw and pushes him back against the cage.

Pettis manages to break the clinch.

Pettis looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pettis trying to control but Sporw is working from the bottom.
Pettis wants to pass the guard but Sporw is keeping the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sporw can do anything to dispel that myth.
Pettis wants to control from the top but Sporw keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Sergio Pettis just wasn't active enough.

Pettis clinches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Pettis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Pettis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sporw to the mat! Sporw manages to get full guard.
Sporw keeping moving, preventing Pettis from controlling successfully.
Pettis is looking to work some ground and pound but Sporw has wrist control.

Pettis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sporw, up you get!

Pettis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Sporw keeping moving, preventing Pettis from controlling successfully.

Sergio Pettis has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Pettis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sporw looks winded!
Pettis trying to control the position but Sporw is working away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pettis creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sporw sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Pettis stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Pettis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pettis showed some decent athleticism there.

Pettis stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Sporw to get to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sergio Pettis dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Eduard Sporw's cut.
That's time! Pettis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Pettis has managed to clinch.

Pettis decides to pull guard.
Pettis is looking to stand up but Sporw isn't so interested in that idea.
Sporw postures up.

Pettis is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Sporw has his hands clasped together but Pettis extends and breaks Sporw's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Pettis.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Sergio Pettis!
Sergio Pettis seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
