Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ong Bak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bak comes to the cage accompanied by you've lost that loving feeling. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bak enables Mason to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bak manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

We've been hearing good reports from Bak's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mason in particular looking to stall.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Mason and the ref steps in to end the fight! Mason can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
