Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ceasar Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlito Sandalio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fat Lip. Sandalio has chosen World's Greatest as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ceasar Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlito Sandalio! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sandalio avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Morgan. Morgan is looking to take a break and control but Sandalio is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Morgan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sandalio knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Morgan throwing shots but missing, from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandalio is trying to get back to half guard. Morgan happy to just control the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morgan trying to control the position but Sandalio is working away. Morgan working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Sandalio felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Sandalio is trying to escape the position but Morgan is controlling the position. Sandalio is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morgan tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Morgan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Morgan wants to control but Sandalio is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandalio tries to buck Morgan off but Morgan is having none of it. Morgan fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Sandalio manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Sandalio is not content to let Morgan control the position. Morgan tries to pass to full mount but Sandalio defends it. Morgan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sandalio is just riding it out for now. Morgan eventually gives up the hold. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Morgan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sandalio knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morgan is trying to control the action in half guard but Sandalio is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Morgan trying to mount his opponent but Sandalio defends it. Sandalio controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Morgan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sandalio keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ceasar Morgan dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jab from Sandalio. Morgan defending well as Sandalio loads up on a big left hand. Morgan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sandalio backs up against the cage.
Sandalio slaps away a takedown attempt from Morgan, before circling back to the center of the mat. A slapping leg kick lands for Sandalio.
Morgan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Morgan has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Morgan takes a jab right on the kisser.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sandalio lands a lovely overhand right. Sandalio throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Morgan fails to land with a series of punches.
Sandalio keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Morgan has been working on his balance at Diamond In The Rough Training Facility, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Sandalio. Sandalio lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Morgan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The strikes coming from Morgan are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Morgan working the ground and pound but Sandalio is defending the strikes. Sandalio tries to improve position but can't. Morgan is looking to take a break and control but Sandalio is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Morgan creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sandalio sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Sandalio tries to buck Morgan off but Morgan is having none of it. Sandalio dodges the ground and pound from Morgan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan trying to control the action but Sandalio is working from the bottom. Morgan wants to take a breather but Sandalio manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Morgan. Morgan wants to control from the top but Sandalio keeps moving. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ceasar Morgan has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Morgan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Morgan. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ceasar Morgan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sandalio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sandalio connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Morgan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sandalio swivels and escapes. Sandalio connects with an inside leg kick. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Morgan. Morgan dives in and grabs Sandalio's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sandalio pushes down on Morgan's head and hops out. Sandalio throws out a powerful jab. Good exchange - Sandalio coming out on top. A jab lands there for Sandalio.
Morgan is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sandalio cracks a nice hook into Morgan's ribs. Oh Morgan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morgan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Carlito Sandalio seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sandalio scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. and Sandalio counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Morgan! He's just covering up as Sandalio starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
