Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zack Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximo Contino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zack Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maximo Contino! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller throws a one two combo.
It looks like Maximo Contino has been cut. Miller slaps away a takedown attempt from Contino, before circling back to the center of the mat. Miller seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Contino rushes Miller and presses him up against the cage. Contino has Miller pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Miller manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Miller. Miller swings wildly with an uppercut but Contino uses good head movement to avoid it. Contino has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Miller uses from the top position. Miller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Contino pulls Miller in close to prevent any damage. Contino has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. This has been an exciting period of action! Contino working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller wants to stand but Contino has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Contino trying to keep a closed guard but Miller is proving a slippery customer.
Miller has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Contino throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Contino keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Contino looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Miller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Contino on the ground. Contino trying to strike off his back.
Contino working for a triangle but Miller defends it easily.
Contino is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Miller is aware though and is defending well. Miller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Contino is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Contino escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Miller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller wanted to stand there but Contino had control of the position. Miller postures up.
Miller stands and throws Contino's legs to the side, diving into side control. Contino is trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Contino tries to strike but it doesn't land. Miller postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Miller wants to stand but Contino is controlling his arm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller working away. Contino is looking for a sweep. Contino is still trying to improve position. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. More blood and guts and stuff like that, in cinemas everywhere now! Miller tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Contino is looking to reverse the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Contino gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Contino looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Contino actively working from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maximo Contino dominated that round. The cut man is working on Maximo Contino's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Miller throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Contino stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Contino shoots in looking for a takedown but Miller manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Contino's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Contino shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Contino is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Horrible takedown by Contino or perhaps it was just good defense by Miller which made him look bad. Zack Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maximo Contino. Miller's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Miller duly obliges.
Contino is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Contino wants to clinch but Miller slips to the side and Miller counters with a crisp one two that drops Contino! Miller thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Contino to his feet! Contino is in big trouble! Contino is still on wobbly legs! Can Miller finish him? Miller closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Contino out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zack Miller!
