Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rebel Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oberyn Martell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into the arena with If you want blood, you got it by AC/DC blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oberyn Martell!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries to clinch there but Martell circles away.
Martell connects with the punch.
Johnson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Martell lands with a thumping leg kick.
Martell looks to throw the jab but Johnson is out of range.
Johnson has a takedown stuffed.
Martell has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A solid leg kick lands there for Martell.
Johnson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Johnson fails to land the takedown.

Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Martell tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Martell to the ground. Martell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Johnson throws a head kick but Martell moves out of range.
Donk. Martell catches Johnson right on the button with a cross.
A swing and a miss from Martell.
Johnson misses with a body kick.
Johnson tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Martell tries to sprawl but Johnson drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Martell keeps working.
Johnson looks to land a strike but Martell avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Martell is adopting a defensive guard.
Johnson passes Martell's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson is trying to control. Martell wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Johnson is looking for a kimura here.

Johnson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Martell is looking for a sweep. Johnson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Johnson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Martell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Johnson.
Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Martell keeps working.
Johnson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Martell's head.
Johnson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Martell keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Johnson thows a huge punch but Martell dodges it nicely.

Martell looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martell is controlling Johnson's position as best he can from this difficult position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Martell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Johnson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That was a close round but I would say that Rebel Johnson will probably get the nod.

Martell lands a nice knee to the body.
Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnson tries for a takedown but Martell manages to get underhooks.
Martell lands a big knee to the head and Johnson goes down! Martell pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
