Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Doctor Cupitmasha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Alec McRaven!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McRaven misses with a takedown
and Cupitmasha counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

McRaven looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
McRaven manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cupitmasha's best efforts.
McRaven regains full guard. Nicely done.

Cupitmasha drops back looking for a leg! McRaven is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McRaven manages to kick Cupitmasha off! Cupitmasha jumps back into McRaven's guard.
McRaven lands a decent punch to the body there.
Cupitmasha slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
McRaven sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cupitmasha is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
McRaven slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Cupitmasha got a little sloppy there for a moment and McRaven has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cupitmasha has managed to get both his arms back between McRaven's legs - danger averted.
McRaven is striking from the bottom but Cupitmasha uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

Cupitmasha is sneakily working for an arm triangle but McRaven sees it coming and defends easily.
Cupitmasha wants to stand up but McRaven has a hold of him and won't allow it.
McRaven is pressing down on Cupitmasha's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
McRaven will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Cupitmasha wants to get up but he can't break McRaven's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
McRaven is looking to sweep but instead, Cupitmasha has passed into half guard.
McRaven tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Cupitmasha has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McRaven tries to improve his position but instead Cupitmasha has taken his back!

Cupitmasha has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McRaven tries to escape the position.

You can see the frustration on McRaven's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McRaven tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

McRaven throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Cupitmasha wants to stand but McRaven is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
McRaven is working to get back to half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McRaven can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cupitmasha is working for a guillotine from mount but McRaven frees his head quite easily.

McRaven really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cupitmasha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

McRaven keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Cupitmasha stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McRaven slips a jab and a cross from Cupitmasha.
McRaven gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Cupitmasha counters with a left and a right that stings McRaven.
Doctor Cupitmasha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alec McRaven.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McRaven shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cupitmasha as he avoids it easily.
McRaven doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cupitmasha counters with a three punch combo that has McRaven backing up. McRaven nods at Cupitmasha to acknowledge the strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Doctor Cupitmasha dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



McRaven shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than McRaven was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
McRaven lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Cupitmasha down.

Cupitmasha pushes McRaven away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, McRaven gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Cupitmasha is looking for a sweep.

McRaven cracks Cupitmasha with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McRaven scores with a couple of short elbows.
Cupitmasha sneaks back into half guard.
McRaven slips a nice elbow through Cupitmasha's hands, connecting with Cupitmasha's forehead.
McRaven lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
McRaven looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cupitmasha with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.


Cupitmasha is rocked!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McRaven lands a nice short elbow.
Oh Cupitmasha is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cupitmasha trying to control from the bottom.
McRaven lands a big elbow - Cupitmasha is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for McRaven!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alec McRaven!
Alec McRaven gave a mention to Atlantis in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
