Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blake Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Rhea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blake Chambers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Rhea! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chambers closes the distance and clinches. Chambers fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Chambers drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rhea pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rhea shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Rhea wants to control from the top but Chambers keeps moving. Chambers is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rhea trying to control the position from guard on top but Chambers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rhea tries to stand but Chambers is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rhea wants to control from the top but Chambers keeps moving. Chambers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by James Rhea. Chambers shoots in for a double leg but Rhea sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Rhea shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Chambers counters by moving into the clinch. Chambers wants to take the fight to the mat but Rhea manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blake Chambers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rhea prevents Chambers from breaking the clinch. Rhea goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Chambers trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Chambers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rhea has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chambers has managed to get both his arms back between Rhea's legs - danger averted. Chambers controls from within his opponent's guard. Rhea controls Chambers momentarily but Chambers frees himself. Chambers engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Blake Chambers wasn't doing enough on the ground. Chambers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rhea is fending him off so far but Chambers persists. Nope, Rhea circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rhea shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chambers sprawls well. Chambers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rhea gets slowly back to his feet. Chambers shoots in but no luck this time. Chambers tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rhea defends well and Chambers ends up having to push Rhea into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Rhea tries to pull guard but Chambers forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Rhea manages to pull guard.
Rhea wants to sweep here but Chambers controlling him for the moment. Chambers stops Rhea from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chambers trying to control the position from guard on top but Rhea is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rhea keeping full guard, as Chambers tries to pass. Chambers postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Rhea controls Chambers momentarily but Chambers frees himself. Chambers would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rhea utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Chambers wants to control from the top but Rhea keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but James Rhea will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Chambers tries to keep at a distance but Rhea has taken the fight into the clinch. Rhea slowing the pace effectively. Rhea has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Chambers after a bit of a struggle. Rhea takes a shot to the head. Rhea tries for a takedown but Chambers manages to get underhooks.

Chambers is stalling in the full guard. Chambers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Chambers trying to control but Rhea is working from the bottom. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Chambers stops Rhea from standing up.
We're going to have a standup here because Blake Chambers wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Chambers instigates a clinch. Rhea breaks the clinch.
Rhea tries for a takedown but Chambers sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Blake Chambers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Rhea. Rhea is breathing heavily. Chambers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rhea stuffs the takedown attempt from Chambers. Chambers gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rhea has his takedown stuffed and Chambers counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chambers is pushing down on Rhea's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rhea is fighting to maintain full guard but Chambers has managed to sneak the leg through. Still in half guard, Chambers seems content to control. Chambers sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rhea defending well though. Still in half guard, Chambers seems content to control. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Blake Chambers. Rhea throws a head kick but Chambers moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rhea thows a left - swing and a miss! Rhea misses with the combination.
Chambers throws a wild body kick that Rhea sees coming a mile off. Nice sprawl there from Chambers as Rhea shoots in. Chambers closes the distance and clinches up with Rhea, looking for a takedown. Chambers pushes Rhea against the cage but Rhea circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Chambers looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Chambers stuffs the takedown. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chambers is defended easily by Rhea. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chambers tries to clinch but Rhea moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Blake Chambers dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Rhea throws a series of punches but Chambers moves out of range. Chambers lands a jab-cross combination. Chambers gets caught napping as Rhea dives in and scores a takedown. Chambers manages to retain guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chambers wants to stand and escape but Rhea is having none of it. Rhea working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Chambers's head. Rhea trying to control the position from guard on top but Chambers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rhea is stalling in the full guard. Chambers pulls Rhea in close to prevent any damage. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. James Rhea has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Chambers wants to clinch. Rhea moves into range and clinches up with Chambers. Chambers dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Rhea fails to pull the fight into his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Chambers regains half guard. Rhea is looking to pass Chambers's guard but actually Chambers recovers to full guard. Blake Chambers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Chambers working for a triangle but Rhea defends it easily.
