Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Crash Bandicoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bj Becks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bandicoot comes to the cage accompanied by Crash Bandicoot: Jungle Rollers Remix. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crash Bandicoot! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bj Becks! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bandicoot tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A left and a right from Becks both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Crash Bandicoot has been cut. Becks circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bandicoot tries to clinch up but Becks circles away and keeps his distance. A jab from Becks finds it's way through Bandicoot's defenses. Becks bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bandicoot's head backwards. Crash Bandicoot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Becks connects with a jab. Becks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Bandicoot is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bandicoot tries to clinch but Becks is having none of it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bandicoot with a poor takedown and Becks counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Bandicoot shoots and misses and Becks counters with a right hand to the body. Bandicoot tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Becks counters with a head kick. That will keep Bandicoot thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Becks stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Becks swats away the attempt to clinch by Bandicoot. Becks tries a head kick but it misses.
Bandicoot tries to clinch and Becks counters by clinching up. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Becks. Bandicoot is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Becks is defending well for now. Bandicoot scores with a knee to the head.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Crash Bandicoot. That's going to take a lot out of him. Becks is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bandicoot can't fight it off and eventually Becks manages to take the fight to the floor. Bandicoot looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Bandicoot had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Becks defends it easily. Becks trying to control the position from guard on top but Bandicoot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bandicoot can't keep his opponent in guard - Becks advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bandicoot looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Becks is looking to take a break and control but Bandicoot is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bandicoot trying to control from the bottom.

Bandicoot tries to roll over but Becks keeps him under control. Bandicoot keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Becks is trying to control. Bandicoot wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Becks is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bandicoot defends it well. Becks trying to control the action but Bandicoot is working from the bottom. Bandicoot is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Becks pulls his head out easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Becks is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bandicoot is just riding it out for now. Becks eventually gives up the hold. Becks is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bandicoot is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Becks controlling the action here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bandicoot is looking to improve his position.
Becks lands with a punch from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bj Becks dominated that round. The cut man is working on Crash Bandicoot's cut. That's time! Bandicoot's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bandicoot has closed the distance and engaged Becks in a clinch.
Becks crunches a lovely knee into Bandicoot's ribcage. Becks is working Bandicoot over against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Bandicoot trying to land knees to the body.

Becks lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bandicoot backwards. Stalling in the clinch from Becks.

Becks turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! This has been an exciting period of action! Becks scores with a couple of short elbows. Bandicoot tries to buck Becks off but Becks is having none of it. Becks landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Becks working the body and head with strikes. Bandicoot is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Becks is putting a hurting on Bandicoot here, landing some big shots from side control. Bandicoot tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Becks cracks Bandicoot with a big elbow. Becks working the ground and pound. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bandicoot tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Becks wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Becks trying to control the action but Bandicoot is working from the bottom. Becks working the ground and pound. Bandicoot striking from the bottom but nothing landed.

Bandicoot is working to avoid the ground and pound but Becks connects with a decent elbow. Becks lands a few punches from side control. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Becks. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Bandicoot is looking for a sweep. Becks wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bandicoot keeps working. Becks is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bandicoot is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bandicoot is pushing Becks's head away, looking to escape. Becks manages to hold on to the position though. Becks lands some shots froms side control. Bandicoot tries to get back to half guard but can't. Becks in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Bandicoot is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
