Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Filip Cupka!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cupka closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Weeks did well to prevent Cupka getting side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Weeks scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Cupka manages to mount him!
Weeks really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Cupka looking to ground and pound but Weeks is blocking nicely.

Cupka is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Weeks is surviving well by controlling Cupka's body position as best he can.
Weeks manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Weeks, under a barage of strikes from Cupka.
Weeks is staying active underneath Cupka, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Weeks won't allow Cupka to pass to mount.
Cupka looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cupka thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Weeks's head.
Weeks tries to get to full guard but Cupka has control of the leg.
Cupka thows a huge punch but Weeks dodges it nicely.
Weeks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cupka seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Cupka is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Cupka seems to be looking for submissions.

Cupka decides to stand and escape the position.

Weeks tries to keep at a distance but Cupka has taken the fight into the clinch.

Weeks's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Weeks enables Cupka to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Weeks manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Cupka gets to his feet. Weeks looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cupka wants to take a breather but Weeks is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Weeks is trying to buck Cupka off.

Cupka throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Cupka thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Cupka decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Cupka closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Weeks's guard.

Weeks preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Filip Cupka has got the better of the ground game so far.
Weeks avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Cupka has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Cupka throws an elbow that misses. Weeks uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cupka's guard. Nice move by Weeks!

Cupka had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Weeks defends it easily.
Cupka is looking to stand back up but Weeks counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Cupka.

Weeks is thwarting Cupka's attempts to control the position.
Cupka tries to kick Weeks off but Weeks keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Cupka is trying to get back to full guard.

Weeks is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cupka doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Weeks.

Cupka kicks off Weeks and gets to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cupka throws a series of punches but Weeks moves out of range.

Cupka looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Weeks!
Millard Weeks has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Filip Cupka is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Weeks wants to get back to his feet.

Filip Cupka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cupka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
